Bath Tray — Build Plan (#9)
Build the tray that bridges the tub: a book ledge, a phone rest, and a routed slot that holds a wine glass by its stem. This 5-page PDF plan (Build Plan No. 9 in the Fox Feather Farms winter series) makes the 32 x 9 in (81 x 23 cm) tray, 3/4 in thick, from one pine 1x10, sized to fit tubs up to 30 in wide — the anti-slip feet are spaced to your own tub's inner width so the tray cannot slide.
Inside: layout diagrams (top view plus a side view of the feet), a complete cut list including the routed wine-glass U-notch, a full materials list with per-line costs in Canadian dollars (about $27 typical in pine), the tools required, finishes and cure times, a build time & cost table, and a 5-step build summary. Builder's notes cover the batch yield (one 8 ft board makes three tray bodies), a foot-spacing jig, and the walnut variant that builds identically at about $50 in materials; the drawer-pull handles can be skipped for a budget version. Safety notes included — the feet must sit inside the rim, and it is a tray, not a step. About 2–3 hours of active work plus 24 hours of finish cure.
